Djenne, Mali

Diana and I went to Djenne to check out the largest mud structure in the world, the mosque there. Each rainy season over 4,000 volunteers replaster the mud exterior. As non-Muslims we couldn't enter the mosque, but we were lucky to go on a Monday market day.
